How is the House Price Estimate calculated?

We mark-to-market the original appraised value of the property using our National House Price Index (HPI), which represents the market value change for the specific property style/type in that neighbourhood.


Can I share the House Price Tracker report with my client?

Yes, we encourage you to share the House Price Tracker report with your client and use it as a touch point with them.


What is the report cost?

There is no additional cost. The House Price Tracker report is a tool that is included in your appraisal fee for every full appraisal.


What if I lose the email or forget to send it?

You can always access the latest report on RPS ACCESS, our online portal for mortgage brokers. Reports will be refreshed every 6 months.


Why is my contact information on the report?

Your contact information appears on the report so that you can share the report with your clients, and they can contact you to discuss their mortgage. It’s important to keep your information up to date. If you have any changes to your contact information, log in to RPS ACCESS and make the changes in My Account or contact our Customer Care team at 1-877-658-8258.


Why didn't I receive a House Price Tracker report for my order?

House Price Tracker reports are generated for full appraisals completed after Jan 1, 2019, with some exceptions, including issues with address validation or missing information in the appraisal report. Please contact your Account Executive for more information.


What if my client has a question about the report?

You can contact your Account Executive who can help you. If they can’t answer the question, we will reach out to the right subject matter expert at RPS for the answer.


Can I change the report?

No, we are unable to change the report once it has been generated. If you have an idea or a suggestion to improve the report, please contact your Account Executive.


Do I have to share the House Price Tracker report with my client?

No, if you don’t think your client will value this additional information you don’t have to share it. You can always access the latest report on RPS ACCESS, our online portal for mortgage brokers.


Can I unsubscribe from receiving the report?

Yes, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. If you change your mind, you can re-subscribe, please contact your Account Executive.
